Astronaut soup
This poem is for Project OpenBook, a community-built children’s book. Your ratings determine what goes into the book. Proceeds go toward doing amazing things. Details below.
Have you ever stopped to think just how
We astronauts eat our chow?
Today we passed Saturn’s loop
And I popped a can of alphabet soup.
Stuff in space just wants to float
So it takes some work to fill your throat.
But if you’re not careful, you best beware…
You might find a B hiding out in your hair.
Or it might be what just happened to me…
You might find yourself covered in P.
