Queen Aberdeen

This poem is for Project OpenBook, a community-built children’s book. Details below.

Let me warn you about Aberdeen–
The bossiest girl you’ve ever seen!
She always ruins our recess
Because she thinks that she knows best.

“That’s not the way!” she’ll often say;
As if we don’t know how to play.
She thinks that she’s our mighty queen–
That snotty, bossy Aberdeen!

But I’ll admit there is a time
When I think she is just fine–
When she takes her sassy noise
And goes to boss around the BOYS!
