Giving Through Books

The old adage, “Giving is better than receiving” rings true for us at MarbleSpark.

There are many ways to give to others, but giving through books is our favorite. A book can spark a child’s imagination and is a gift that can be opened again and again.

Through our literacy initiative, Project OpenBook, we donated 1,000 copies of our kids poetry book, The Yeti in My Freezer, to deserving kids last week. It was a week chock-full of gratitude, laughter and smiles.

christmas break

We’re not traveling this year for Christmas break, which means we will have A LOT of time to get creative with activities to keep the kids busy.

At dinner last night, we were brainstorming ideas and my 8-year-old, who was looking at our collection of hand-painted ornaments based on the “12 Days of Christmas,” became obsessed with the song.

“What is a bear tree? Or is it a bare tree?” she wondered, and we all giggled.

Anywho, now we’re all obsessed with the song.

Apparently, we’re not the only ones.

custom children's books

Custom children’s books make the perfect Christmas gifts for little ones. Why?

For one, they are forever gifts that kids can cherish for a lifetime, alongside family photo albums and baby books.

They also promote family time—and snuggle time!

But most of all, kids love to go on the adventures that they find in books.  They are inspired by the vibrant artwork, in love with the silly characters and find unbridled joy when they see their own names throughout the personalized story.

But don’t just take it from us. We love to hear why YOU love our custom children’s books!
