Max Raber

Max is a super talented fifth grader in Colorado Springs, CO.

Tell us a bit about yourself.
Hello, I’m Max. I’m ten years old and a fourth grader at Woodmen-Roberts Elementary School in Colorado Springs, CO. I live with two odd siblings (one older brother, and one younger sister), my mom and dad, and an 18 year old cat, named Teva. I was born in Evergreen, CO, but moved to Charleston, SC when I was two months old. I loved living in South Carolina because it was really warm there, and we lived very close to the beaches. But I love Colorado too because I love the snow and the mountains. After school and on the weekends, I like to play football, scooter, and I like to hike around on “the hoodoos” (rock formations in our neighborhood).

What’s your passion? What makes you tick?
I like all kinds of things, especially drawing, math, historical times, American Indian culture, skiing, and playing football. I’m only 10 … I’m not really sure what I’m passionate about yet!

What’s your wildest dream for Project OpenBook?
In my wildest dream, everyone that’s contributed to the project would become rich and famous and all the young girls in Nepal would get the education and freedom they deserve.

Where can people get more of you?
Unfortunately, my mom and dad won’t let me do the social networking thing yet…
