Temporary Tattoo

The sign, it said “temporary”.
So I looked it up in the dictionary:

It means it lasts for a short time
So I picked one out and paid a dime.

I went right home and put it on,
A big red heart surrounding “MOM”.

But now I think that something’s wrong.
It wasn’t s’posed to stay this long…

If I had known it would last twelve weeks
I wouldn’t have put it on my cheek.

I think it would be very neat to have this tattoo on your face for twelve weeks; maybe twelve years would be better! Love, Your Mom

Every single poem is good, you and your fellow writers are so talented! Have you considered making these more printer friendly or compiling these in a book at some point? I feel like I'm a kid in school reading these and I'm sure they'd be a huge hit with the teachers!

You're two steps ahead, Ann! We do hope to add a “living book” to our library (alongside Following Featherbottom) that would allow you download a printer-friendly version of the book (or even buy a hardcopy). And as we add poems, we'll add chapters to the book.

We just haven't gotten there yet. But we're working on it! Thanks for reading!!!

Great! Then shop it around to literary programs and schools- it should do well!
